I simply adore The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I grew up heavily in love with the Harry Potter series, I remember begging my mother to take me to the midnight release parties.:) The Hunger Games are AMAZING!

I don't have many 'favorite' books, I can't pick. I do have a huge selection of favorite authors.

*JK Rowling (favorites are the Harry Potter series and The Casual Vacancy)

*Stephen King (Bag of Bones, The Shining, Doctor Sleep, and many more)

*Dean Koontz (The Frankenstein series and the Odd Thomas series are amazing)

*Jennifer Weiner (I own and have read EVERYTHING by her... I love them all)

*Robin Lee Hatcher  (Whispers From Yesterday is good)

*Sarah Dessen (I own everything by her too, everything is amazing)

*Karin Slaughter (a local Georgia writer [where I live], I have met her in person and I own everything by her... 75% of it is signed. I love all her books)...

This list could go on too, but my battery is dying. :(

Holy thread necromancy batman.

A tie between Dragons of Autumn Twilight and The Soulforge. Both from the Dragon Lance series by Tracy Hickman and/or Margaret Weiss. I met both authors at GenCon... 2009? 2008? I basically cried when I met Margaret.
