we're a day late, but better late than never, right?? so sorry for the delay!
are there any summer traditions that you and/or your family do over the summer break. 

one of my brest friends will usually come down and spend a week with me. we've gone on cruises and most recently went down to the keys.

We also make sure to get multiple trips to our favorite beach 2 hours from home in our state each summer.

Mostly pack every weekend so full with activities (pony drives, hikes, backpacking, pony packing adventures etc..) we are ready for the wet season to come, which is long here in the PNW.

Not anymore...Don't talk to them anymore, but i used to take atleast one beach trip-either to long beach or Santa Monica in Socal, every summer with my friends :) We would go, either crowd into one car or wed all split it, and we'd get a bumch of snacks, maybe some hard seltzers and soda, sometimes cheap fast food and pile down and goof off al day.

Nothing really, my husbands birthday is Aug 16th so we always take that day off and do something big or small. Last year we went to the beach and did some dolphin watching, this year no travel plans - just stay near home.

My family used to take our touring caravan to our favourite caravan park called Tollymore Forest Park. Some evenings, we would drive into the nearby town, Newcastle, and go along the main road and look at all the lit up amusement arcades and lights over the promenade. Now and then we would get burgers or KFC and take them back to the caravan.

I could go on for ages about all of that. lol

We used to visit a lake on the Colorado River every summer, but that stopped a few years ago. I decided to go by myself this year to restart the tradition!

We usually try to go camping at least once, or go for some hikes, though the smoke from all the fires makes that a bit difficult.
