This isn't really a game change issue, but a player issue. I suggested on the Discord server a few weeks ago that players should come together and talk about lowering ticket prices specifically. I thought I would start a thread here. There are too many tickets and not enough buyers. Tickets are going to waste. Prices don't make sense anymore. There are less active players. I have seen horse tickets around 140k and dog tickets around 60k, but I still see old prices being advertised as well.

I would also like to suggest lowering upgrade prices since a lot of players rely on tickets to pay for upgrades and they aren't going to be making as much from their tickets if it is collectively decided to lower ticket prices.

Again, these are suggestions and this thread is open to any opinions or ideas! I think it would be a good discussion to have amongst players.

I agree, the ticket prices are usually pretty high around the mascot contest but before/after that there is far less demand for them unless people are working on project animals. 

Ive been trying to sell my horse tickets for 120k ans they wont even sell for that xD it sucks because honestly nobody plays anymore at this point, might just stop upgrading accounts because theres not really anything good from it anymore

I wish HP could be popular again.. I have so many accounts that need upgrading and I love the game, but when no one is buying tix and no one is selling upgrades it's hard, which makes me sad.

If I can get my shit together I've thought about doing a mini dog project for my next Golden Retriever pup. 

On the ticket price front, I typically just tell people I'm selling them ask what they're paying, then go with that (as opposed to advertising a specific asking price I mean).

I sold my horse tickets for 100k and I've been buying here and there for 50k and I know some players are buying for 60k. But yeah, somehow we need to get the upgrade prices to match. xD 

good ol' supply and demand. It's just that there is more need currently for upgrades than tickets.
I would think eventually players won't be able to afford upgrades at the current price if tickets stay the same which will eventually drive down the upgrade prices.

I think the issue with this is for that to be changed, the rest of the economy should techninally change with it? Show spots, shows, upgrades... 

I stopped selling show spots a long time ago. found it easier and cheaper to just use my own shows.. BUT that was when I could sell double sets of tix for upgrades, ect... so idk now.. xD part of me wants to keep all my accounts but.. the other part wants to cut down to like 10 accounts, but if I do that do I drop all the private animals with it? but then idk what the use is.. idk I've been struggling a lot

I don't know that I've been here long enough to understand the prices. But as a new player.. it is confusing how one is suppose to make money here. I feel the only way for me to get enough hpd to participate in the buying of tickets, shows and goods is to do upgrade auctions, and I imagine many people wouldn't want to enter a game that costs cash dollars out of their pocket right at the beginning. The one thing that was helpful, or I would have quit by now, is the starter pack. 
I'm here for the nostalgia of the old HL days. Also seems like a fun online community. 

@Swamp Pony -- there is a section on the Help page about how to make money. Hopefully this discussion leads to some change in the economy. Normally I would suggest selling graphics or learning to code layouts, but looks like the auctions are almost always empty when I check. Selling upgrades is easy cash on here, but can be a big financial burden if you get carried away with it. I've spent hundreds on this game to get HPD and I can't keep doing that financially.
