My fall favorites:

COOLER WEATHER - It's September and will probably remain in the 90Fs until at least October but thank God it's not 115F anymore. I will finally be able to go out and walk the dogs and take them to the park :)

HALLOWEEN - I love Halloween so much. Lot's of nostalgia and love getting to spend time seeing all the cute costumes that come by in my neighborhood.

CAMPING - This kind of goes with cooler weather but we normally do our road trips and camping around Sept-Nov. We have kind of started a tradition of going to Moab in the off season so I'm excited for that.

PUMPKIN SPICE/FALL FLAVORS - I love making my own pumpkin spice creamer and having it on a cozy day. I also love when peppermint flavors come out.

THANKSGIVING - We will have to change our tradition this year, but I've been loving Thanksgiving in Las Vegas. Lots of nice places to eat or places to go since we are a travel destination. When i was in WA everything was alwayws closed.

1. Haunted Houses - I love sppoky season so it is one of my favorite things to go to a haunted house. I remember going as a young girl with my family and loved getting spooked with my family and friends.

2. Pumpkin Patch - I love going to the local pumpkin patch. They have a wagon and you ride out to the patch to pick out a pumpkin to take home. It is such a fun event to do with the family. It is fun to take the pumpkin home and usually we paint it and set it outside for decoration.

3. Chili Cookout - Chili is one of my favorite foods. We cook it and it seems to just taste better in the fall. I love mine with hot sauce, brown sugar, cheese, and crackers!

4. Costume Party - I think it is fun to dress up and go to a costume party! It is very of the season.

5. Quarter Horse Congress - In Ohio there is a large quarter horse show it lasts the whole month of October basically. I love going to watch the show. I have been going since I was young and love going. It makes me think of fall. Out of the list this is my favorite fall activity. They have vendors so of course I get to shop until I drop and walk in all the fancy living quarter trailers!

✨Enchantress ✨ (ID #361191) - Horse Information

Activity 1 Collecting conkers/horse chestnuts at my nearby park. When I was a kid, my friends and I would poke a hole into a nut, thread a length or string through it, tie a knot, then take turns trying to smash each others' nuts with ours.

Activity 2 Walking along footpaths, shoofing my feet through dry fallen leaves. Never too old for that!

Place  My local park. It's around 10 minutes walk from here. Beautiful in all seasons, but one of my two faves is autumn, which brings changed leaf colours, acorns, pine cones and conkers. Taking my camera to the park is a thing I love to do in the park. 

Food I love toffee/candy apples at Hallowe'en. Sometimes I buy a bag of Haribo gummies, a candy apple and a bag of hazelnuts and munch whilst watching a horror movie or two.

Event Hallowe'en, of course! I love seeing decorations and pumpkins and seeing fireworks! Belfast used to host a Hallowe'en "Monster Mash", which included a fireworks display, in the area where Titanic was built, but it hasn't happened in years. The second-largest city here, Derry, hosts a MASSIVE Hallowe'en party which is attended by thousands of people! I'd love to go, but the Real Murdock isn't interested in such things, and I'm not going alone.

Fall is my absolute favorite season! plus my birthday season lol

1. Colder Weather! I love love love hoodies and I can finally start wearing them!

2. I love pumpkin patches, hayrides, you name it!

3. Halloween! My favorite holiday (who doesn't love free candy am i right!)

4. Thanksgiving! Food food nummy nummy food! Plus my son was born nov 27th so his birthday is either right on or a day around thanksgiving!

5. All the scary things! Scary movies, haunted houses! 

I seriously don't think it gets much better than fall! Bonus all the leaves change pretty colors!

1. Halloween because it's such a fun holiday, and it's my husband's birthday. 

2. Crunchy leaves because wet leaves are slippery. 

3. Soup because it's finally cool enough to have soup, and it's the easiest thing to make.

4. Isolation: I tend to have my social life in the summer and good weather; by fall, I'm worn out and winding down for my winter hibernation.

5. Reading in the rain, because it makes me feel justified for sitting on the couch instead of being outside laboring in the yard.

1. Better weather = lower AC bill 
2. Pumpkin Patches, I like to have an apple cider and touring all the shapes and sizes. Apple orchards are fun too!
3. Corn mazes (this is how my met my current bf so it means alot)
4. Pumpkin bread/rolls, they def replace donuts and muffins in the AM
5. Fall Horse Shows have the BEST photos!!!

My fall favorites!

- The smell of fall! It's a crisp and fresh smell, super earthy and just comforting to me.

- Sweater weather! I love wearing warm, cozy sweaters, and you can dress them both up and down!

- Football season! I have always loved football, so having so many options of games to watch is awesome!

- I'm not a big fan of pumpkin spice late's, but I love all of the Carmel apple, and different fall flavored drinks that come out. My absolute favorite is a ginger bread chai!

- Crisp morning walks! I love how they can help me wake up and it gets the blood moving and the fall smells with it is just..... peaceful and I love them.

Decorating - I get to make my house look cozy and pretty with all the fall themed leaves, pumpkins, candles, and then of course decorating for Halloween! 

Leaves - I miss seeing the bright colors from back home-home, walking through the woods and just staring up at the trees with the crisp smell of Fall makes my heart happy and soothes the soul. 

Temperatures Cooling - At least eventually for out here! I'm just hoping it's not 90 degrees at the end of October like it was last year! 
I love wearing hoodies and not sweating everywhere for just exisitng outside lol. 

Candles - "Leaves" from Bath & BodyWorks is my absolute favorite smell. It just makes the house smell soo good and def adds to the cozy vibes!

Halloween - Watching all the fun Halloween movies, going to a haunted house/hayride, and passing out candy to trick-or-treaters is always so fun! My current barn also hosts a Halloween party for everyone and there's a potluck, costume contest, and several other themed activities for prizes, and even trick-or-treating at the stalls which is super cute!

1 PUMPKIN SPICE: I may uh fit the streotype okay, but I LOVEEEEEE pumpkin spice as flavor, let aline as a iced starbucks chai...oooh with pumpkin bread :D nummy. Very fall, very good. 

2 The weather: I dress heavily alt, and I wear matching alt makeup, think grundge/punk. Fall is my favorite time of the year because I can wear turtle necks and longer skirts and no one is gonna look at me funky, and flannels, and tights...exciting. :3 I'd fit right in with the spooky. And it rains ALOT, during the fall here, I love the trees and leave changing, the windy thunderstorms and cold nights.

3. Media: Nothing's better then watching the Great Pumpkin Charlie brown, or the og Scream *its the only good one smh*. Or playing videogames with seasonal events-animal crossing, Hello Kitty Island Adventure...AQW, etc; Especially in the rainy weather by the fire

4. The plants: I love fall plants, and sunflowers when they orange out, and pumpkins, its so pretty and a softer yet vibrant change from how bright summer is. Pumpkin patches, aspen leaves, the flowers, etc just bring me so much joy.

5. the smell: I like the smell of earthy musty rain or ground or leaves. THe splashing in puddles percipitation smell after it rains, the cool foggy forest air in the evenings.
