Golden Retriever

About the Breed

The Golden Retriever is a medium-sized dog breed that is traditionally used as a gun dog for retrieving shot waterfowl. They have a natural love of water, and are easy to train for basic or advanced obedience. That and their lovely personalities make them an ideal breed for disability assistance. They originate in Scotland in the 19th century.
