Hi, y'all! I recently got back into photomanipulations (throwback to GIMP when I was a kid--that's what started my design career tbh :P) and I would love some feedback on my latest piece.

Things I struggle with: light/shadows, finding a style for illustrating hair

Any feedback and suggestions is greatly appreciated! :D Also, fantasy type subjects like this are my favorite, but would there be any interest in premades?

Oh my word.... um the only thing and I mean only thing I notice is on horns there is more lighting hitting than the hair and face close by. The difference is very slight however. All in all this pic is drool worthy and when you are taking orders and I can afford I'll be messaging.

Ugh i love your style, and this one is particularly striking with the light :D I can't do light manips to save my life xD

My only critique would be with the mane/tails - overall, they're absolutely A killer. I adore the style, shading, depth, smoothness, definition. That said, I think there needs to be loose flyaway hairs that don't conform the normal twists/curls/strands/ends :D Just kinda lightly throw single hairs along the edges of those curls, or towards the ends of the hair. Follow the general flow of that piece of mane/tail but drag it out past the others so it "flies away" from the main mass - keep the brush small so it looks like it's only one piece of hair (and use a brighter color (i mean, pretty much plain white) since light will shine through the single flyaway strands) ^^ In my opinion, it'll add to the realism of hair that's already stellar :D
