Selling backups

I'm just curious, for those of you that breed and sell backup foals how do you generally price them? I have a while to go before breeding my animals but I like to be prepared. Although most of my breed specialties aren't super active breeds so I probably don't have to worry about it either way. :)

I've never sold a backup, so I'm really no help.

But I imagine it's going to depend on the popularity of the breed, how many generations the baby is, points born with, and the points of the lines.

I usually set mine at 5mil. People usually will buy them for that at least if not bid more depending on the breed.

I sell my dwb foals for 10mill per pixel - and I am pretty firm with that.

All my horses reach 3mill, and they have strong, safe lines. I don't think its unreasonable to ask for a " reasonable" amount for nice foals/pups.
