I'm a day early according to the HP calendar, but I didn't want to have to make another news post tomorrow...

Hallowe'en Breeds are now in the regular store until November 1st! This includes:

Hallowe'en Grab Bag Sale

Want to get a surprise AND a bargain? Well, then it sounds like you want to buy one of our Halloween Grab Bags! They're are open for purchase between NOW and 5 pm HP time Friday October 28th!

All Halloween Grab Bags cost $5 USD, and contain 2-3 items roughly totaling $15 USD in value!

To purchase a Grab Bag please send $5 USD to payments@horsephenomena.com on PayPal (goods and services), and then message me on account #1 with your Transaction ID and PayPal email address to claim your bag(s)! Limit of 3 per person, please. You may send the payments together for multiple purchases. You are also welcome to gift a grab bag to another player...please indicate if this is what you want to do in your message, and if you'd like a message to go along with your gift.

Please allow some time between purchase and receiving your Grab Bag. I am doing all of these manually, so it may take awhile. Rest assured, though, I WILL get everyone's items handed out.

Disclaimer: The items are meant to be a fun surprise, and while their value will be taken into account, they are randomly assigned. There will be no refunds or exchanges if you don't like the items you got!

Upgrade Auction Perks Survey

After all of the discussion that was had in the forums surrounding upgrade auctions and adding additional perks, I have created a survey to sort out what we end up going with.

More information can be found at the top of the survey. Again, these would be on a trial basis, not a permanent thing.

It has come to my attention that Option 2 is ridiculous (lol), so I have adjusted the points values and wiped all of the previous responses. If you already filled out the survey, please do it again! 

Deadline to reply is November 1st.

On another related note, thank you to those who gave your input on the last 2 surveys I posted...those will be reviewed with staff and an announcement will come after Hallowe'en as to the outcome!

Regarding option one, what happens when someone buys an upgrade for themselves during the trial? Do they still get the full 6 HPB per usual or do they only get 3 HPB while this is active?

I personally hate option one. The auctioneer is already getting 230mil HPD per auction, which in turn can be exchanged for HPB later. This wouldn't be fair to those of us who can't afford their own upgrades with RLD. Those who can pay RLD for their own upgrades get the full 6 HPB for their own plus half of any they sell. And those of us who can't afford the RLD on their own upgrade only get 3 HPB cause the seller gets to steal 3 of them? If it ends up going this way, I'm seriously quitting the game.

HPB for HPD, sure, but not what you said.

Like any sale or promotion, however, it's not a guarantee that it will happen.

The whole idea of what that thread became and now this survey is to try to entice more people to be willing to upgrade others (edit to add: in an attempt to get upgrade prices to lower from obscene levels). Everything on that list would only be added for the rest of this year.

If that is not the option you like, then don't vote for it.

As the survey says, whatever is deemed most popular would only be in effect until December 31st of this year, and would not be in effect during any black friday/cyber monday sales. THIS IS NOT A FOREVER THING.
