It has been 22 years since the world changed irreversibly.

Today is difficult for so many. 

We bow our heads for a few moments today in remembrance of the victims who lost their lives and the first responders who saved so many more lives on 9/11/2001. 

We keep those who are still here with us in our thoughts as they struggle with their daily fight, and remember those who have lost that fight over the years.

I ask you today to be extra respectful to your fellow players, family, and friends. I encourage you to do an act of kindness for someone you don’t know. Buy someone a lunch in the drive through, help someone carry their groceries to the car. Something you would appreciate on a really rough day. 

For those of us who are old enough to remember, that moment we got the news is scarred into our memories and it is up to us to make sure that we never forget the sacrifices made on that day.

Take a moment today… Think about those victims, the first responders, your troops, and the families of those we have lost, and be grateful for those in your lives that are still with you today because of their sacrifice.

As always, we honor this day and the people affected, by moving the Patriot Paints and Liberty Labs from the cash shop to the Regular store until end of day September 17th.

We are never promised a future. Remember to be kind. Today, tomorrow, always.

I don't remember much of that day, as I was in elementry school. It really has made such an impact over the years, and doesn't get easier. It makes me so emotional, even though I was blessed not to have anyone I knew involved. 

I even got a tattoo that is 9/11 based. 

I was in 7th grade. I still remember the pale look on my science teacher's face. He had to tell us what happened. Now that I'm grown, I think about how hard that must have been for him, to tell a bunch of baby teenagers the horrors that happened that day. When I got home my mom was sitting on the floor in front of the TV sobbing.
