Anyone use camera for there pets or in the house ? I may need an new one thst will connect to our 5ghz net work the one I have will only work on 2.4 and our 2.4 isn't working so if we can't get it bk up I need an new one for my room to keep eyes on my kitty's (Simba has heath issces so if I am at work for an weekend need to keep eyes on him) and to make sure stuff isn't being taken from my room while I am gone. I don't need one that has an payment plan

Cameras are like $20-30 each, my doorbell camera was on sale at Microcenter (I dunno if you have this near you) when I got it too. I have them on all four sides of my house, my building, my doorbell camera, plus in the living room and kitchen and office areas of my house (all three have exterior doors and I like to keep an eye on those). There is no subscription unless you want it (they have plans starting from $1 and going up and there is no contract. I don't use a plan though).

No clue what microcenter is so we dont have one unless it an diffresnt name lol we bave best buy thouth and home deport i dont need an plan just want it to keep eyes on simba and to make sure nothimg goes missin

I don't have any installed at the moment, but my husband and I are looking to have some installed. I have heard great things about Ring cameras. My in-laws have a Eufy system installed, it's very cool. Can watch from their phones.
