So I took Namira to the vet last week for her shots. Before they gave her one, she needed a blood test. That test came back positive for FIV.

I have been reading that for indoor cats like her, the disease shouldn't be an issue. I also had a friend tell me that FIV cats are prone to gum issues and to keep watch. 

Anyone ever have an FIV cat?

I've never had an FIV cat, but I do know that they can still live good lives with it!
