So I created a third account a few days ago, and have the option of purhasing the "Starter Pack."

I already purchased one on one of my other accounts. I know only new players can purchase them, but I wanted to make sure I was allowed to purchase 2 of them before I tried to do so. Either today or tomorrow will mark one week since I've joined HP, and all of my accounts are linked under the same e-mail address. Anyone have any insight on this?

I think the rule of thumb is probably one per a new player simply because it's designed to help you get your first start on the game. You're first account will come with a temp upgrade and you can purchase the starter pack but if you make more accounts with seperate emails you're abusing that privilage! If you need ways to earn money there are lots of options and I'd be happy to try and give you some ideas! :)

yes there is a bug in the newbie pack at the moment fae, its only supposed to be offered once per player but thats not the case. HP made an official annoucement a few weeks back -before you joined- that anyone found to be taking advantage of this bug and using the newbie pack on more than one account after that date would loose all the money and horses gained from it -i think- HP is working hard at fixing the issue.

This information is correct. One trial upgrade and starter pack PER new player not each new account for players.

I just REALLLLLLLLY wanted the 200k point 2 year old horses for my Camargue line since no one else here breeds them yet... call me greedy :)

It is really weird though, I have three accounts. Two are upgraded, one is basic. All are under the same e-mail. The first account I made is the one I got the starter pack from. The second is a basic account with a few pups, but I noticed that it NEVER gave me the option of getting the starter pack. And on my third account is also upgraded (obviously without the starter pack), and I had the option again, which is how this question popped up. Maybe only some accounts are being offered the starter packs?

That's actually not the case! New players can buy it as many times as they would like within their first week :). It's just not designed for anyone else (non-new) to be able to buy!

Oooh! Making note of that. I didn't know. Perhaps we should add this to the rules and that news update to clarify?
