It would be awesome if we could upload images directly to our animals...With the new thing Photobucket did, making people pay $400/yr for 3rd part hosting, a lot of images have been lost...or a lot of time needs to be take to save the pictures, reupload to another site, and put them on the animals again. Tehre are a lot of other 3rd party hosting sites for images, but what if they start making people pay too, and even more pictures would be lost. It would be great if we could just upload them directly. :)

While I do love this idea, it may actually be kind of costly for the game due to server space and what not. Very interested to see if this is a possiblity because I lost a lot of images to imageshack deleting them and a few more I had to sort through pages of photobucket to find and save (and that site was glithcy and ad loaded! ugh) However, I know with the server / hoster I use for my website - I only get so much space and the more space I add the higher the price goes. 

It would be really nice to have this. I just save any pictures I buy for my animals (and layouts) anyway. So in case that does happen, where the hosting site deletes or removes access to the picture, I can just reupload it somewhere else.

As much as it would be nice. We don't have the severe space. And upgrading the server to serve that type of upload would be very costly.

I also do what Sass does. Every image I buy I Save directly to my computer. Therefore I can always reupload if needed. 

I would love for us to be able to host everyone's images! Unfortunately, like Binny said, we just do not have the server space. Images (especially high quality images) take up a TON of space - just think about your phone and how much of the storage is used by pictures and video - so in order to even make this remotely feasible we would have to severely limit the file sizes you could upload which would make the image quality really, really suck. I'm sorry :(.

Ah, that makes sense (I didn't know how that stuff worked lol). I do have most of mine saved as backup, just stinks reuploading them haha. I have thousands of animals on my retirement who lost pictures with the photobucket stuff, so now I'm working on reuploading them all. But really, maybe the main issue is the fact that I have that many animals......lmao

Trust me I feel you on the PB crash though. It murdered the crap out of my RP forum since my friend hosted everything. Every graphic every button every template EVERYTHING on Photobucket.
