So, I shared the good news a couple weeks ago that Marley tested negatively for Cancer.

Lately he's been off his food (which is very unlike him), so my mom took him to see the vet on Monday and he had some more bloods taken and was given some antibiotics to treat a Kidney infection which he's been taking in some mashed potato.

Mom called me earlier to say that his bloods have come back and he is anaemic and has a very low white blood cell count.. the vet wants him back in first thing Monday morning to do some more tests (he wants the course of antibiotics to finish first - but they don't really seem to be making much of a difference) because he thinks either an infection or bacteria is eating him up, or he's bleeding internally.

I'll know more by the end of next week but I'll keep everyone updated.

Oh my gosh ade!  I'm so sorry to hear this!  I hope he starts feeling better over the weekend and you get good news Monday.

I had a kitty that turned anemic because he had what we suspect was feline mycoplasma. I hope the vet can figure out what's going on quickly and can get a treatment sorted out!

I'm so sorry about Marley, Ade! Poor puppers! :(
