I know people who use this for their horses! I never have because I've never had a horse that would put up with it, but it's a great idea, haha.

I originally got one for my Lab, now use it on both horses and it's a lifesaver when they blow their coats  :)

SleekEZ is great on horses - I'd guess it'd also be good for short/mid-length dog hair?

My parents have one of those nubbly rubber mitts for grooming our old dog - she grows such a dense undercoat that sheds out in heinous clumps, but she's weird about being brushed. Using the mitt makes it a lot easier to keep her fur under control without freaking her out.

I body clip Bella and we just brushed the dogs when we could haha. I used to do grooms with the shampoo stuff and ugh it was such a pain in the butt.

Furminators are great. I use it for my Black Cat and also my new pup (that has long short hair and an undercoat) Shasta.

For horses my aunt showed me that Pumice Stones work great. I haven't tried it on the dogs yet but for shedding in the Spring/Summer for horses it's not really abrasive on their skin/body but gets ALL the hair ;)
