I forgot you guys haven't had it released yet!! It was released a couple of weeks ago in the UK. I'm a huuuuge JP fan and it started out really promising and exciting but honestly I was disappointed with it from the middle to the end :( I hope you guys enjoy it more than I did though! |

I want to be excited for this, I really do .... but other than the fact that they leave the “park” is it any different than the first one? The ‘baddie’ is another genetically modified Dino by an egocentric all scientist. Chris prat is going to charm the velociraptors & save the day. The characters are essentially the same, and the premise is essentially the same. TBH I was expecting more. |

Because I'm such a JP fan (except the 3rd, but I'll watch it just for dinos) I'm excusing the parts I wasn't so happy with. I like the direction the movie is taking. If anyone wants to discuss in more detail to avoid spoilers message me because I need to discuss all of my feelings. |

It definitely was an interesting direction for the franchise, and for sure some of the scene (especially the ones involving Rexy near the beginning) were really well shot and exciting. Idk, maybe I'd like itbetter on second watch. |

I agree atropa. That opening sequence was so spot on and actually CREEPY. It was a definite callback to the first movie and that really set the mood for the rest of the movie. |

Ado you must have watched "the day the earth stood still" recently :)
not sure if this phrase was in the 2008 film but it was in the 1951 movie |
