Friday Nights With Dr. Veri!

Ok, so, I have a feeling a good deal of you have seen me in Basic Chat and have born witness to the part of my personality officially dubbed Dr. Veri. Whether it's relationship advice, life advice, or just being in need of a positive way to look at something, it seems like I have a knack for being helpful. I've considered myself an unlicensed therapist to my real world friends for years and have begun calling myself that here as well. I've had countless players asking for advice on a zillion things, and I always hope that in some small way, I'm being helpful. The idea has been jokingly said to me that I need my own talk show. Until now, I've always just giggled at it. But then I really got to thinking...what if I did do that? Or something similar? Would I get responses? Would people really keep coming to me for advice? So I have gotten it in my head to just go for it. The Idea: So here's what I have come up with. Players can message me about anything and everything, and I will do my best to answer. I will compile a bunch of the messages and will answer what I can on camera, then post it to YouTube and share the links here. I will NEVER reveal player names. If you don't sign with a cute little name (i.e. Can't Get Him Out Of My Head or something) I will think of something for you. Relationship advice, opinion on something (be careful about anything political...I am very opinionated and might not agree with you...) question about me personally, I will answer it. I don't hold anything back, so be prepared for crazy answers to crazy questions or straight non-sugar coated answers for serious things. I will do my best to watch my language so that everyone can view these without getting bothered by my at times naughty language. So that's what I've got. I would love feedback on this here if you think it's a good idea, bad idea, whatever. It's just an idea that has been gaining speed in my head and if it gets good attention, I'd love to do it. :) UPDATE! Here is the account where you can send messages and such to! Because 12 is a nice number. If you want the scientific answer, then that would be 700 pounds of wood (which is roughly the equivalent of 35 cubic feet of dirt while making a burrow). |
