hey all, I'm Ren (short for Lauren) i've gone by approximately a zillion names online across various online games, but usually i'm found playing as Oda, Alcatraz, or Atari, depending on the game and the mood i was in when i joined.

like 99% of everybody else here i'm an HL refugee- I started playing that probably around '99 or 2000 and stayed until things started getting weird at which point i bugged out and moved on to other games.
fun fact- i've played several dozen horse games over the years, including some of the ones that are pretty much lost to history now, like ludus equinus, spiffy horse, and down under horse stables. 

over the last few years I haven't had much time for online games- i got stuck in a job that took a lot out of me and didn't give much back, and then became a primary caregiver for a relative this year, but things are settling down again, and i realized how much i miss horse games. HP was the first one i remembered (and thankfully my accounts still work, even though it's been at least 4 years since i logged in)

and so i'm back. still figuring out what to do but i'm playing around with shagyas and gypsy vanners now, as well as some unicorns i picked up from the HA (*runs to check* is that what it's called here or is that HL sneaking in??) hah, yes, score. HA works.
anyways, i digress- I do that often. i'm also working on getting back into making graphics now that i have a snazzy computer that actually works well for making them.

tl;dr - i'm ren, i'm just coming back after a long time away from HP, and i'm probably too old to be playing online horse games but frankly that's never stopped me before :D

...and yes, in case you were wondering, tumblr has done terrible things to my typing. :P
