I BOUGHT A BABY HEDGEHOG!

I AM SO EXCITED

I will post pictures when I get it. 

If anyone knows things about Hedgehogs...please tell me the things. I don't know a lot about hedgehogs and keeping them as pets. But I've wanted one for about 7 years now.

Oh my goodness!! The cuteness! 

No permanent name yet although "Herbie" and "Love Bug" have been thrown into the ring :D

I gave him a bath the other day! He was shocked about the whole thing which I hear is normal for their first bath but he still was pretty grumpy afterward :/ 

And then today I took him on a field trip to a friend's house! He was a little grumpy since it was probably his 1 am and he was looking for a place to burrow and sleep the whole time. My friend loved having him over though :)

Pray tell, how do you bathe a live cactus like that? xD

I have one and uh, with a toothbrush! For Reggie I put a little soap on the brush and scrub his quills in the direction they grow, and then just rub his belly with soap and rinse him off. He doesn't like to float around like the ones you see on instagram lol. You shouldn't get their ears wet (as with most animals) so I usually wipe his face with a damp paper towel or baby wipe (only huggies natural care for sensitive skin...very specific..) it really only takes a few minutes but they do like to poop in there lol.

I heard you should put down a little sink mat or something so they have some footing. I forgot to do that the first time :/ But yeah, I just put some water for his feet and tooth-brushed him with a little olive oil.
