Born to Wander Knabs - fun names based on cities/countries/cultures around the world and just a travelling theme

Westphalians - I actually use a band name generator to find a cool word, then use that word to generate more band names around, and then pick a cool sounding name from there. Each gen then plays off the parents' name.
Georgian Grandes - keywords in songs from musicals (at the moment - Hamilton and The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Chow Chows - I'm following the Black family tree lol
Akitas - characters from the Tokyo Ghoul manga
Brabants - characters/places/themes from Skyrim and Nord culture
Suffolk Punches - one line is chapters and the other is dragons and their Riders from The Inheritance Cycle
Korean Jindo Dogs - main line is named after members from my favorite kpop band (with their mates being named after the member's nickname). Second line is just Korean words
Jutland Horses - themes/characters from MARVEL's Thor
Tennessee Walking Horses - characters/places/themes from Bioshock
Shiloh Shepherds - horror movie titles/monsters

Haflingers - game of thrones family names (i.e. chronologically correct targaryens, starks)

Morabs (and the Morgan and Arabian crossers) - red dead redemption

Clydesdales - inuyasha (physically correct, not chronologically correct)

I'll jump in because this thread was so fun to read through!

I've only got one breed with one line right now: Friesians, which are being named after rock, heavy metal, grunge, etc. songs that I like. I want to have breeds with name themes based on Riverdale and Sonic the Hedgehog, but for now I've just got the one with one line so one theme.

i only have belgian draft as of right now (and that's all i plan to breed, honestly!), but they will all be named with relevance to astrology. my first line of stallions will be named after the planets, second stallion line named after the signs, third line after astroids, etc etc.

I have way too many animals to have all kinds of themes but my labs are song names and my direwolves are unusual words 

Danish Warmbloods are my only animals here on HP currently. :)

Their names are Elvish, inspired by The Lord of The Rings Trilogy as I am a HUGE fan!!!

The names for the first two generations are far more elaborate; The Barrow Downs fan website once had an incredible name generator, which is where these names came from. Since it's now no longer in operation, I am hunting for actual names on a few fan websites. :)

I had a brief stint where their names came from one of my favorite bands, Breaking Benjamin.

There was also a time where names were after Greek Gods/Goddesses after my 2017 Mascot Entry with Agaeon. 

But, the Elvish names are working best for me....so that's what I will stick with! :) 

As for the numbers, this just helps me keep track of pairs during training. Furthermore, it also helps as a double check at breeding time, to ensure I get them right! Don't wanna mess up! 

im lame and name every animal named after episodes of shows i like.

as for my hawaiian themes, they are all based off of areas ive lived, childhood memories and streets i lived on. And named after some of the animals i had growing up

I updated mine as some lines are gone and there are new ones xD I still have so many theme ideas, but so little time lol.
