So while I was cooking dinner tonight Viking decided he wanted to hang up his hammock for a bit, and of course Maybe wanted to go outside to hang out. 

I'd made a joke about him putting her in the hammock to relax a little bit and apparently he took me seriously...

She seemed pretty chill in the video haha. Viking said he was worried she was going to jump out onto the blocks in the back for a moment. But she just hung out, I'm not sure how he eventually got her out of the hammock. I'm thinking next summer we might try to take her kayaking.

Kayaking? How's she gonna fit in that lil hole? xD

She still has probably 20 lbs to lose but I finally got Viking to agree to getting an actual food scoop that's sized for her, and she's on good food now. We take her everwhere so she's pretty active these days. It's coming off, just slowly. I'll have to put her up front and sit in the back to even it out some but then she can hang out and enjoy the nature. If she jumps out though, she's on her own until I can bank somewhere and get her back in.

Other option would be to get a canoe and have all 3 of us in that and she could probably hop in and out of that even if we're on the water. One of us can balance it out by leaning the other way while the other one hauls her back in. But she's not a huge fan of swimming so I doubt it'll be much of an issue.

She's 18 to 20" tall (so on the average/tall side of a female heeler) and then she's about 20" from her neck to her butt (head and tail not included). She also really doesn't like the measuring tape. 😂😂

I personally find canoeing less stressful than kayaking. I just imagine her sitting on you in the kayak and how unbalanced that might be. Not to mention possibly uncomfortable xD But it sure sounds like fun! :)

Tana, we do both pretty happily. She's never been in one but she's pretty easy going so I think if I put her in one with me she'd probably just be like "okay, I guess." haha

Mer, right?! I just couldn't. In the video she's just swinging back and forth real easy just hanging out. I'm sure she'd hand out in there for a while if we put her up while we were doing yard work. 

Now I'm picturing her just jumping up in there on her own and putting her head down so you can't see her and then you and Viking wondering where she's disappeared to xD

She's a heeler. She might lol

She likes to sleep between the bed and the wall (it's a small house, big beds) and Viking lost her this morning because she squeezed beside the guest bed and the wall. She's a naked doggy in the house since I don't want to make her wear a collar 24/7 so she's extra quiet and can sneak around haha.

omg siib that cracks me up - Abby used to squeeze herself behind the armchair in the living room and curl up back there and we'd be searching high and low for her lol

Maybe can squeeze under our bed (which is crazy low to the ground). Which means she can also go under the guest bed, and the sidetable in the living room.
