Chrome Double Posting?

For some odd reason, I'm always double posting... I've talked to a few people and it seems to be an Updated problem with Chrome and HP... Is there anything we can do except time when we post to avoid doubles?

Since I don't use Chrome and can't test it (I have a mac, so chrome is different for me), all I can really say at this point is that probably it'll sort itself out in a few weeks.If it persists, then we may look at what we can do to help prevent it, but in the meantime it appears to be isolated to chrome. |

I only use chrome, it's completely updated, and it hasn't happened to me whatsoever. |

its happened to alot of people who are using chrome. Its happened to me once. |

Maybe it's your mouse double clicking? Mine is dying right now so it keeps either double clicking or not clicking at all. I also use Chrome. |

Yeah, I think it's because of the new chrome update and it's just affecting chat strangely. If it keeps going after a few weeks (since sometimes when browsers or other software pushes out updates they have to fix new bugs), then we will look into ways we might be able to adjust to fix it (kind of like how layouts don't get along with Internet Explorer). But in the meantime, I don't think there's much we can do. |

And if it does happen, I know all the mods have been understanding and not a big deal.. but I know it has happened to me many times... where I hit enter only once.. and then it dp's.. we won't get warnings or marks against us?  |

Do you guys find you double post when you've hit the browsers back button?! I /think/ that when you post something, then hit back, chrome automatically refreshes the page, making you double post (whether in chat, or forums), or send money/message twice.Let me know if you notice if it happens when you hit back. Then we will know the cause of chromes issue :P |
