So I've used the forum search and a little bit of browsing through the existing threads as well as trying to locate this in the help section, but nothing really explains the point of the interest for the bank? I'm a little confused as to how it works, can someone please explain this to me? Also the 'Money' section under 'Help' needs some updating I think, it still says that basics only earn 75k a week.

I mean I'd assume it's the same point as interest from any bank situation? As in it's a (small) reward for keeping your money in savings instead of splashing it around too much. If you're trying to save up for a specific goal but don't want to risk the temptation of spending what you've saved so far you can "hide" the temptation by sticking some of that money in the bank and you'll accrue a modest % in return.

i know that when i was looking for the exact percentages, I just looked back in the site news til I found the update about the bank interest. Might be easier to copy and paste that info to the help section for now instead of typing something new up. :D
