I was thinking about adding a few more breeds to my current list and was curious about how many active breeds others have...? and how many animals other players have in active training?

Right now, I am actively breeding 8 breeds (4 dog breeds, 4 horse breeds).

Right now, I am actively training:

72 Standard Schnauzers, 12 Scottish Deerhounds, 38 Arabians, 12 Pembroke Welsh Corgis, 16 British Riding Ponies, 12 French Bulldogs, 12 Gypsy Vanners, and 12 Italian Heavy Drafts for a total of: 186 animals in active training

I've cut back a lot since March, when I used to have 36 breeds, averaging 4 animals per breed. Training took 3 hours in one sitting, but as long as I had the upgrades for them all, I could handle it.

Now, I just have 15 breeds (9 horses, 6 dogs): 42 Knabstruppers, 4 Westphalians, 4 Georgian Grandes, 4 Chow Chows, 4 Akitas, 2 Weimaraners, 6 Brabants, 4 Suffolk Punches, 2 Korean Jindos, 2 Thoroughbreds, 8 Collies, 4 Tennessee Walkers, 4 Belgian Warmbloods, 2 Breton Horses, and 2 Shiloh Shepherds: 94 animals in training I think lol.

Currently have 2 breeds.

2 GSDs

1 Elkie (newborn so no mate not in training).

At one point I had over 100 animals in active training, but I'm afraid to overwhelm myself as I ease myself back in, so I am trying to stay on the lower end.....but it is ohhh so tempting!

I've cut down so right now I've just got Paint Horses, Oldenburgs, and Cattle Dogs.

I think I'm just going to expand these lines as well rather than adding new breeds.

Right now I have 2 dog breeds (both flavors of Corgi) and 3 horse breeds (Paints, Cleveland Bays, and Oldenburgs).

I don't have a precise count on how many animals are currently in training, but it's enough to keep me busy without being overwhelmed! :)

I would definitely like to start French Bulldogs and possibly Swedish Warmbloods in the future!

I had started building up my lot a few months ago and had about 10 - 12 animals on the lot, which was a record for me on any SIMS game I have ever played over the years.

I had:

* 4 Holsteiners

* 4 Foxes

* 4 Francais Trotters

and at that time I was seriously considering a further expansion with a few sets of either Blueticks or German Shorthaired Pointers.

That never happened though because then I had family emergencies nearly non-stop, College, lacking of funds to Upgrade accounts, and motivation to name a few, so I was not on HP very much and my animals were suffering as a result. So, I recently sold off the foxes and the Holsteiner pair then retired the Trotters once they hit 21yrs. Now, I just train my lined Holsteiners only, who are a handful all on their very own for me with everything.

I do want to start a line of Blueticks or Pointers on here at some point and time, but I can see that that will be quite far down the road unless a miracle blesses me otherwise.

ONE!

Haha, just my Lhasas. 24 of them.

At one point in time I tried doing two breeds, but failed. So I've always just stuck with one breed.

I overwhelm myself too easily when it comes to animals in training...doesn't help that I constantly have more and more name themes for animals come to me during the day. :/

Currently I have:

Maned Wolves: 2

Dingos: 2

Paints: (will be buying just a pair in the near future)

Fell Ponies: 6

Orlov Trotters: 6

Nokotas: 2 (maybe 4 at the most)

I would also like to do Rottweilers or Thestrals one day, tana.
