Horse Market/Auctions

I was just on HMF whining about the market for horses and wondering how to make others interested in others lines when I got this idea. What we usually see is people saying they don't sell horses 'cause there's no interest in them. How could we change this? Basing it on myself, I love buying in to others lines. More fun than buying from the store. But I keep on forgetting to search for foals for sale. What if there was a Horsemarket, or Horseauction just like there's Graphics Auctions? You click a link under Shop where you get to a page with all horses available for sale/bid, showing Name, Points, Age, Breed and Owner. Perhaps divide them in to Foals, Adults and Seniors like the Rankings are divided up. Again, basing it on myself, I know I'm definatly not really looking for graphics, but I keep finding myself looking at graphics for sale 'cause it's easy. It's too easy to forget to actually search for horses for sale each week than to simply click a link. As well as, if you just search horses for sale you're probably searching for a specific breed. In the horse market ALL horses for sale would show depending on their age (and possibly point?) group, it clears the way for a more impulsive buy. :] I don't know, perhaps others wouldn't be interested but I know I would definatly be using the auctions on a daily basis, even just for "window shopping".

I support this 1000000%!! I think it would be fantastic to have this implemented. I myself have kept a lot of my Andalusian line private just because it is harder than ever to find buyers for them. I think the simplicity of having an animal auction area/page would increase breed interest and streamline the process of selling an animal. SUPPORT!!!! |

I like this idea. Its gets frustrating sometimes because so many people have their animals at $1 and their not for puplic sale. I do that as well - but its the only way to transfer my animals to different accounts without someone else taking htem. This idea i think might work. I always looking at dogs/horses for sale. That is how i started my TB line. :)

I also like the idea of labeling the animal like for transfer, sale that Chaotic had. :) I totally supoort this idea

I really like this idea!
I was thinking though, it would be cool if there was a thumbnail of the animal's image, because honestly that should affect the purchase price.
I do like the idea of flagging the animal for sale, transfer, free, etc.

For me anyway, I dont care about images. Especially since if im buying into lines, its a pup/foal. OR I change the name anyway, so frankly, an image wouldnt matter to me, as I wouldnt use it anyway. |

So in your opinion, a graphic on an animal does NOT affect the purchase price? That's crazy thinking that some players charge over 50 mill per image |
