I had a free Norton trial on my new computer (which I did not really like). I need to get something quickly. I would prefer something that is free or cheap. If I have to pay a few bucks a month for much better security and protection, I will. Any suggestions? *Please do not just list software, I would like to know the cost, and your experience with it. Thanks! ![]() |

If you don't like Norton, I don't really have a suggestions. Norton is what I use for both of my computers and I love it, it works well and it's never in my way or anything, but I think it costs $60/year. |

I use Microsoft Security Essentials, which is free and was recommended to me by a computer repair/advice store. Google it and the first link to download it at the Windows website :) |

AVG/Avira. The free version does give you a pop up occasionally, but I've never had a problem with it!![]() Link Tree |
