I'm currently in school, studying for my Master's in Creative Writing. I go to school in Ireland, but I'm originally from the USA. I really like it here.

Hey Cupcake! Welcome to HP! :D I have so many things I gush over/ask you about haha. Like omg a masters in Creative Writing, that would be my dream :D I'm studying video game design and focusing on writing/storybuilding with some programming thrown in (all my loves in one career).

What do you write? Writing is a huge passion of mine, and I'm super excited that November is two weeks away because then I can drop all my obligations and retreat into novelist mode for National Novel Writing Month (if you know about it, can we be buddies? if not, you should totally check it out [and then be one of my buddies :D])!

Also, school in Ireland??1??!!? That sounds amazing. I was considering actually checking out schools in Scotland to transfer to (haven't found any yet, and I'm being drawn to a more local school but STILL). What's it like to be out there and so independent/far from home?

Hi everyone!! Thank you all for the warm welcomes. As you can see I changed my name (so indecisive, I know, one of my major character flaws, and I'm sure my Shakespearean end will come about because of it), but it's still me, I promise. xD Monstaccato - that's awesome! I actually wanted to take a class on doing the storyboarding for video games, but I wasn't quick on the draw and I missed out. Ho hum. I'm sure some kind of opportunity will open up to me, though, if I wanted to take that route. I don't really play too much, I only watch Let's Plays of the important games. I'm a Nintendo nerd. I should play for myself more often, though, but I dunno. Maybe I get scared without the guiding voice of my favorite Let's Players telling me random trivia, ahahah. But what's it like designing games?? That sounds really, really cool. I've heard of NaNoWriMo, and I have no idea if I will participate or not... ugh the schoolwork! Haha. But on the other hand, what a good way to start writing my dissertation... but do I have the diligence... that's the real question. Haha. I'll give it a think! School in Ireland is really nice. I have parents who sort of half-accept me, I guess, really, tolerate me, so it's nice to be in a place where I can just be myself and nobody's constantly breathing down my back, watching my every move. It's nice to be alone. Of course, I miss my family, but it's like... it's nice to just get away from it all and see the world. :) But yes, I love it here. If Scotland's calling you, you should definitely go answer to it! c: Or at least, try a semester study abroad to see if you really like it. That's what I did, first. I didn't just like randomly decide (though it feels like it). :) Thank youuuuu!! Tana - That is really amazing! I was just speaking with someone from Norway about how the world idealizes Finland. Does it live up to your expectations, or like... not? I'm dying to know. If I ever settle down, and the rumors are true, I'd like to move there and enroll my kid in their schools. They seem like they've really got it all. Heck, and so does Canada. xD I'm sure there's a lot of similarities. I miss Cheetos and cheese dip the most (though, I found one place here that HAS cheese dip, and yesssss, I was sooo happy to get some). Night Floof, Sassafras, Famous Shamus, shee, Maharet and Samantha - Thank you so much for your warm welcomes! M.ame - I'm currently in Limerick! It's really nice, I love it here. Everyone is so friendly, and willing to help you find places and all that. They're such kind people here. With the exception of a few creepazoids and stuff like that, I haven't met anyone I really couldn't stand! So... yeah :) It's a nice place. 

I like Finland a lot! The education sure is great here imo, and in the rest of the world's eyes, but people here still criticize it sometimes. A lot of dumb teachers apparently, at all levels of schooling. I guess nowhere is perfect, but it still seems like a great place to go to school. I'm actually in a vocational school studying massage therapy, and I luckily have very good teachers! There are a lot of exchange students here! I also love how well nature is taken care of here and how peaceful it is (except Helsinki - big cities with lots of traffic make me anxious), yet there's always something to do somewhere.

That sounds amazing and I thought of going to do something like Camp America but by then I had settled down too much (horse, fiance and dog) so missed my chance to go live in a different country.
