General tutorials, cutting tuts, shadowing, basics???

I’ll have to see if I have any stored away! But one of the biggest helps for me was learning the basics of your program first. Get familiar with the basic tools and functions of it before trying something super ambitious. 

Of course, I mostly use my laptop for digital art (as opposed to photo manipulation), so with that one can just pick up a pen and start sketching without any reference pictures. 

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck! It can seem like quite a lot when starting out, but you’ll get the hang of it!

 DA has always been my go-to for tutorials. And even ones that are using different versions of photoshop can still be applied after learning the basics! They probably have cutting tutorials and the like as well if you search DA.

To be honest though, while I do like & use tutorials more now .. I found the best way to leasrn photoshop was just playing around on my own.
