(I think this is where this goes...)

So I need a little help deciding what breed to do. I'm a little overwhelmed with all the choices and I need someone to point me in a direction, any direction!

So I rescued a pair of Missouri Fox Trotters and decided to train them until they retire just to occupy my time. But I don't know if I should breed them or not. I don't know if I should have MFTs as my main breed or maybe a side line. If they were a side line, idk what to do. I just love too many breeds of both horses and dogs! AHHH!!!

As you could probably tell by now, I'm not good at decision making :P

I also don't want to start a major project because I'm just starting my senior year of college so I'll be super busy and might have to take a short hiatus at some point. Also, I'm a poor basic player so I can't really afford to do any massive project :P

So any advice or suggestions I'll REALLY appreciate!! :)

No need to do a project right away. Take the time to really get used to HP, build up some solid lines, and build up money! :)What you need to do is find a breed, horse or dog, that you just attach to. There are so many random reasons - you own one in real life, or it's just your favorite and you're determined to own one some day... all of the suggestions that we'll offer will just be our own favorites (-cough- appaloosas -cough-) but until you find that one special one that just clicks for you, you'll probably do a little flopping between breeds.MFTs sound good, do you like doing them or is it just something to fill your time?

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't worry about doing any kind of project while you're still feeling out which breed you click with.As for picking a breed, like Adranth said, a lot of players pick breeds that mean something to them. Like I breed Shih Tzus and Pyrenees because I own both breeds. My main breed is Abaco Barbs though and I kind of stumbled across those because I wanted something that I could "be the best at" and then the more I learned about them the more I loved them.If you can, try to decided if you want a horse or dog breed, then go from there. :)

I definitely agree with finding something that you attach to. I feel like it can give you that extra push to stick with them if you become bored with them. I breed Labs because I own two in RL, and i've become bored with them several times, but because I own them in RL, it makes me want to stick with them, even when i'm deathly bored with them. I'm now up to generation 12 I think and just getting more excited about them again lol.
