Two Projects At Once

Has anyone ever attempted two project animals at once? Like one is a horse and one is dog? (with their respective pairs)

I've done multiple dog projects and a few mini horse projects, so cost isn't really a question I have an idea on how much I need to save, but I'm more wondering on timing wise. Like starting the projects at the same time or staggering them since horses "train longer" than dogs or doing one, then the other right after if the ages work out that way? I pretty much can time my dog project since the breed is currently active, the horse I'm debating on bringing a breed out of retirement or doing a current one, so I thought if I got the timing answer it would help with my decision.

Also if/when I attempt this (rl timing is going to play a huge role too), I figure I should not do it during the mascot contests as I'll be in a challenge for tix/shows but are there any other HP timings that wouldn't be wise either? I'm still getting back into playing again, so I can't quite remember. Any help is appreciated. ^^

I think mascot time is the only time where the competition is super fierce for tickets, unless many people happen to do a project at the same time or if you end up against someone who has no cost limit for tickets (again, this is non-mascot time).

As for the timing, if you have enough money saved up, I suppose you could do both at the same time, but if you don't want to overburden yourself with so many show and ticket requests, maybe you should stagger them.

I second Tana here on both. I agree that I have seen times where people outside the Mascot Contest have purchased every ticket buyer indefinitely until their project retires. And especially this year, I've seen quite a crop of project horse/dog pairs asking to "eat tickets" or private shows. But I think this is more people getting ready for the Mascot Contest (which - correct me if I'm wrong - I think starts in January?) with their project's offspring. Excluding the tribute projects. I'd just ask around either in the forums or the Ad Chat if anyone has a slot or two open for your projects, see how many come up. I would honestly pre-reserve if absolutely possible to make things a little easier.

Staggering I would also suggest, for not only the ticket reason, but also in regards to points. I do not know the whole gist of Private Shows as I've not used them very much, but I know that only a certain number of animals can get in them to get the most points. When I bought Privates, the maximum they had was between 1 - 8 and I was only doing one pair. But if you're doing two project pairs, then you'd possibly have to consider buying whole shows for them to not gamble any point loss. So, personally, I agree with Tana and would just stagger the projects to get the most out of it.
