I don't make excuses for my weight and lack of exercise I do. I used to, but I realized one day several years ago that i'm fat and I don't exercise because i'm lazy and I don't want to. That's it.

But i've decided to change that, starting today. Danny goes to cricket training every night at 5pm, and that doesn't interest me in the slightest. But I do have 3 dogs that I enjoy spending time with, so when Danny leaves for cricket training, i'll take a dog on a 30-60 minute walk. Over time we might even turn that into running :P

We've already started eating healthier and minimized our portion sizes. We also eat healthy snacks like fruit and veggies and keep junk food to a minimum now. We're not complete health nazi's and cut out ALL junk because then we'd be miserable and there's no point in doing this if we're going to be miserable and tempted ALL the time, but our main problem is the exercise that we don't do.

Danny got me a new wii, so I can do what I said i'd do and start doing zumba again because that was amazing when I did it with my old wii. It was a wicked workout and it was SO MUCH FUN and I did lose a few KG's while I was doing it. Then the wii crapped out and I stopped so now i'm a blob again.

Woohoo. My goal is to lose 25kg. When D goes to training i'll weigh myself before I head out for my walk.

I need to take a lesson from your book. I really like walking and I have two dogs that can go with me but I just don't. I always think I can't go because I get off work so late most of the time but I really could if I wanted to. We have a wii and I've thought about getting Zumba for it. I think my mom may have Zumba dvds that I could try too.I wasn't impressed with my weight at the doctor's office the other day :s I'd like to lose about 40lb (~18kg).

I have never tried zumba on the Wii. I might have to go buy it!I put on about 30kg when I was pregnant with crystal and have been struggling ever since to get it off. Before her I was always too thin (around 48-50kg).But as soon as I quit smoking I am going to start taking care of myself again.

I need to lose some weight too. I've been riding again and trying to eat better and generally I feel slimmer, but I weigh 15 pounds more (possibly from the muscle of riding? I hope. Haha.), and I just want to be skinner, I guess I don't really care what I actually weigh. But I need to actually take the initiative and DO what I'm supposed to do and not go "oh, ill exercise tomorrow", because I won't.
