Small rant

so I trained extensively a horse and decided to sell it hoping someone else could use her and her son (both well pointed) for something instead of sitting there because I'm on-and-off. Someone then bought them, gelded and fixed (sold my dogs too, also well pointed) and now have them "pending deletion." I know the risk I took putting them up for $500, but I can't help but feel extremely irked that someone would do that. yeah, they were stores, but they actually were 10,000 or over points, clearly trained and shown. Just for someone to buy them, geld and fix them, and just delete them like nothing. Idk, i'm really annoyed about it. |

There is not much I can really say except unfortunately you cannot control what people do, sorry. Maybe you could ask for them back? |

Next time, maybe put them up for private sale? That way you can control who buys the horse or dog :) |

I would, like Uni said put them up for private sale. Then advertise and let people know you'll only sell to an established breeder/trainer, and also say how they are fully trained to point max. I know lots of people buy free/cheap horses and delete them because some assume they're not updated with training and are trying to clean up the game so to speak. |

yeah, i'll probably do that next time. Not even going to bother with asking for them back. I didn't want them as gelded / fixed in the first place. It's just one of those things. oh well. |

I get where Sky is coming from. Advertising them that they are to established breeders doesn't work either. I had a lined of Lusitanos that i was selling. I sold them thinking they were going to a player that would continue with their training. They were 3rd Gen. But a couple days later that player resold them for more than what i sold for and half of them were gelded and pending deletion. SO advertising that they are for private sale to a established breeder does not work. That is my rant as well |

I've found specifically messaging active breeders asking if they're interested can be helpful |
