I recently discovered these dogs and have always wanted to raise them on an online game but under the 'Panda Shepherd' name rather than just the German Shepherd Breed. 

I know most people see them as just Piebald or Tricolor German shepherds but I think they should be recognized as a somewhat seperate breed as Panda shepherds.

On dogbreedinfo.com it says they are only recognized by the Dog Registry of America

There is a pup that was DNA Tested to make sure she wasn`t a crossbreed, that also seemed to have a connection to the AKC, So I`m not sure if that would be proof enough of a connection to a kennel club or not.

Either way if it`s at all possible and if other players would be willing to Raise Panda shepherds, I would love to get the breed added Thank you!! :D

Plus on wikipedia there is a Club for panda shepherds Called - North American Panda Shepherd Association

Unfortunately, this isn't a distinct breed, and it just a coloration of a German Shepherd. According to the Wikipedia link you provided it says "A study published by UCDavis in 2016 found that the panda marking is the result of dominant mutation of the KIT gene, or the CD117 gene. DNA tested conducted by the American Kennel Club proved her lineage to be, for a fact, a pure German Shepherd Dog."

Fallow, I def. encourage you to start Shepherds and only have 'panda' colored shephereds. I would love to have a new GSD breeder.

Technically "white" is just another color variation for the German Shepherd, just like Panda, but White Shepherd is available in the breeds list and there aren't any active or current breeders. 

If we want to go by the rule that it's a variation of a German Shepherd then shouldn't we not have a breed option of White Shepherd?

you know Kace, that is a pretty good point, I whenever I think of White shepherds I think oh it`s a separate breed but then I remember it`s just a color variation for GSD`s :/

Though I do really like White shepherds! I still Wish Panda Shepherds could be recognized as a separate breed on here if White shepherds can be!

I understand why you would want them added but I also understand why not to add them. In all fairness, White Shepherd should be removed based off the argument of Panda being just a color variation, seeing as white is also just a color variation.

If I didn't already commit to breeding Staffordshire Bull Terriers, if they get added, then I would absolutely join in and breed Panda Shepherds.

I think it would be cool to have some sort of drop down menu available for each breed that allows you to select the various coat colors and maybe have the coat collar displayed on your main page next to the dog breed. Like "German Shepherd Panda" or "German Shepherd White".

I love this idea! I'm going to get back into my Shepherds on HP soon.. and owning IRL a 'isabella' GSD I'd love the color options :P

I see your point Kace, I really do wish they could be added but if they never are it would be amazing if they could add your idea of drop down menus for selecting a color for the dog and have it show next to them. 

and I recently started raising GSD's on here myself so it would be nice to see you start them up again!
