I almost feel like this is a dumb idea but what if we could forward mail from one account to another? Like maybe a partner account that you only go on once a week or less and you want to know if someone messages you on there so you can choose to forward that mail to your main account? Or maybe turn the option on when you're on your spares training so if someone messages you something time sensitive (i.e. accepting last minute show requests) you will get the message instead of 3 hours later after you're done training your 4,000 animals and it's after changeover. Then, you can always turn the forwarding option off so you don't get too much mail on your spare(s).

Why do I think this is almost a dumb idea? 

• This could be expensive to code in ---> Maybe upgrade/cash shop perk, then?


• Not sure the burden it would put on the server because each account would get duplicate mail


• There may not be a need/desire for it in the HP community since I know a lot of us also communicate via FB or other communication

I personally love this idea. 

To avoid overwhelming the server or spamming inboxes, could have it send a vague message of "You have new messages on #12345!" and have it only send this message to your main once per certain amount of time. I.E. If you receive ten messages in 5 minutes, you only receive one alert message to your main. You won't receive another alert until at least 5 minutes has passed no matter how many messages you receive in that 5 minute span. This way it reminds us to check that account for messages, but it won't spam if we're receiving 50 show request accepts. It may be worth it to also not send the alert message for things such as club messages etc.

This may require a system of "main and sub accounts" to be implemented in order to work, or I guess there could be an option in the edit profile section that allows you to dictate one (or more than one in the case of partner accounts) account number to notify.

I love this idea, but I have one hang up. I think it's worth noting that if we do this allllll the club stuff would forward and 40 messages from one club because of one update would get really old really quick. :( 

So if we could somehow opt out or at least block those from forwarding I'd be all in. 

You can go to your profile and turn off club messages from every account except your main, then it wouldn't matter?
