I'm active on quite a few forums outside of HP (gaming forums and horse forums) and since they're forum-specfic software they have a lot more features available than we do, but it got me to wondering if there were any features that people wish we had on the forum here? Suggest below :). |

I would love to get messages for when someone comments/replies to one of my threads I created. I always forget to check and then it's too late.I would also make the option to turn them off as well for the people that don't want them. :) |

It would be nice if you could go to the last post in a topic without having to go in to the topic, scroll down and click on the last page only to scroll down again. Just a minor pet peeve of mine, nothing major...  |

It would be great if sections that had new topics/replies were highlighted so you know what you haven't read yet that has been posted since you last viewed the forums. Not sure if this could be done though. |

I too would love if I got a notification that my thread has been replied too. However, it would get annoying and crazy if the thread got so so many replies. Maybe have the option for if you want messages for replies on your thread. That way if someone posts a game thread for example, they would know that it will get many replies so they wouldnt tick the box? |

oh, also something that i wished there was and would use loads is a search bar where you can type in the keyword and it will bring up all the forums with that key word in them |

Oops! I wish I'd seen this before I made a thread about a forum suggestion! My bad! I'll move the suggestion here, then. -deletes thread- I think it'd be cool to have a post quoting feature. When trying to reply to threads with several posts since my last visit, I find it gets confusing to keep track of who said what and who needs replied to. I don't know how practical or probable it is, but it'd make conversations with multiple people a little more convenient. ^^ I also wouldn't mind being able to have permament forum text colors and the like. I don't mind selecting it manually every time, but I wouldn't mind something that stayed the color I want, either. xD Perhaps with HEX codes rather than choosing from a few color swatches, as well? This may be late, but when making a new post, it would be great if it took you to the newly created post. Or at least provided a link at top to view either the new post or the forum you were posting in. XD Not really a feature, more a modification. Hope that makes sense! I also think an online/offline indicator in the profile box on the thread pages would be nice. |

I'm with a lot on these ideas. Piggybacking off of Freia/Tronic here, I would like to see messages in my inbox (It would be automatic and would have the name & ID of the player who last responded to the post). Like our post in the email would be italic with quotes. Then have in normal writing, the replier's but in quotation marks. The message should also have a go here link to take you right to the post. Also piggybacking off of Aphrodite, having too many would be annoying. So like she saud, we should be able to filter it; Personally, I would put ut under our edit profile where we do our avatars and sigs. It should have an option below our sigs saying something like: "I would like to receive all replies to my post. I would like to recieve some replies to my post or I would not like to recieve replies, do not show." That way the player could check whether or not they want replies abd how often. Finally as my full own suggestion - I think we should be allowed to follow or "pin" a player's posts if we like their responses so we could see their opinion on a subject or have a 'I like this opinion!' with a thumbs up or check symbol. Which would allow you to like any posts from a player. Very late on the idea train but this is my two cents on the matter xD
