Eeee. I am soooo excited. I bought my wedding dress last week and ever since I can not stop smiling! It is everything I could have dreamed of and so much more! I was super stressed about finding a dress because I live in Houston, TX and my mom lives about 9 hrs (by car) away. She came down for the week and we booked 2 appointments per day for Monday-Friday and I knew if I didn't find a dress during this time that was in my budget then it was going to be really hard for my mom to get time off to come down again. 

Buttt.. it ended up being way easier than I thought it was going to be. My dress was the 3rd dress I tried on at my first appointment and I knew it was the dress the second I saw myself in it! It is a gorgeous satin ball gown with a v-neck and long train! I also didn't think I was going to be a bride that wore a veil.. I've never liked them, but the stylist put a gorgeous veil on me and I fell in love with it!

Joe and I are having a super long engagement because of my school schedule. He proposed a month in to my 2 year program and we aren't getting married until 3 months after I graduate... October 12, 2019. So for the first year, there wasn't really any wedding planning happening so it didn't feel like anything had changed but now things are happening and I'm sooooo excited. It all feels real now. 

The venue is booked, the photographer is booked, the DJ is booked... I've decided on a caterer, we just have to put the deposit down and we are good. Super excited and just had to share!
