Debating on starting a NEW line again.

My german shepherds are level 5 and 7 pups already....

 What does everyone breed...

I'd say go for whatever breed you have interest in second to your shepherds! :D

If you're not super interested in horses then I wouldn't worry about breeding a horse breed. If you want to start a new breed maybe look into the Doberman Shepherd. It's a new breed I recently had added. I'd be more than willing to give you a starter pair or some pups from my own lines.

You just have to find the right breed. Don't start a line of horses just to start one. Find the breed that resonates with you, be it horse or dog.

I agree with everyone above, the most important thing is finding a breed that "clicks" with you. If you have tried horses multiple times and they did not keep you motivated, then I would stick with dog lines for a second breed.

You could also partner up with some other players on them if you haven't already to get your perfect breed! 

If i start a line and dont end up being interested or it doesnt gain like I want i delete em.. But what does everyone breed. Give me an idea of wahts out there

siberian huskys that i took on when a player left and im not overly fond of them but im 2 gens from combing the whole lines so i keep chugging along

I'm breeding Friesians and American Foxhounds. I love my horses, but my dogs are special to me as they are a reminder to my past.

I have 1 pair of Holsteiners ( they are currently private, but I plan on selling a back-up from the G5 pair some time in 2019. Don't know when) and 1 pair of Bluetick Coonhounds with Jaya actively. 

Other things I have bred are: French Trotters, Zombie Paints, Gyspy Vanners, Hanoverians (twice), AQH's, Foxes, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Boxers, Golden Retrievers/Labs. All of these breeds failed except for the two I currently have.

My horse breeds are all mythicals... pegasi, patriot paints, and zombie paints

I honestly have so many breeds and I keep adding more as I find them. But I do have a few favorites.

the ones I can't live without:

Leonbergers - currently have two pairs but I somehow always end up with like 8 or 9 pairs

korean jindo dogs - back up to 2 pairs after dropping to 1 pair from 20-something pairs :p

Suffolk Punches -just recently dropped to 2 pairs from 7 pairs

the newer favorites:

brabants - 3 pairs

georgian grandes - 2 pairs

chow chows - 2 pairs

knabstruppers - I think I'm at 28 pairs now lol

I have kind of a terrible habit of starting like 5 differant lines at once and then getting overwhelmed with them, however these are my current breeds. 

Zangersheide: 5 pairs

Kitsune: 3 pairs 

Pitbulls: 3 pairs

 Catahoula leopard dogs: 1 pair

Rotties: 1 Pair

Vyatka(only active breeder):3 pairs

Garrano (only active breeder):2 pairs

Yonagini: 3 pairs

ill probably end the garrano/pitbulls/rotties lines at gen 4 as their not really sticking with me but I don’t want to like totally quit on them yet lol. But I second what everyone else is saying, you just have to find the ones that click.

My plan going in was to have all British pony breeds but that's not quite happened.  Still need Fells, Dales, Dartmoors, Shetlands and Exmoors.  

I had a good go on mythical breeds Jaya.

Wolves are by far my favorite “breed” on HP.  I am particularly fond of Timber Wolves but I also have Arctics, Wolves, Direwolves and I dabbled a bit with Iberian Wolves.  There is a lot of variety in Wolves and there are a few active breeders on here.  Let me know if you want a starter wolf or a backup pup :)

Zombie Paints - 2 pairs

Newfies - 1 pair

Dogs:

Anatolians - 4 pairs (went a little overboard with these guys)

COs - 3 pairs

Silver Foxes - 2 pairs

Since dogs age faster than horses I've found it easier to have more pairs with them, but I know this feeling I'm currently in the debating process on another horse breed which I shouldn't be. I generally am a rare breed person, but decided to give Zombie Paints a try to have at least one popular breed. I like to learn a little history on breeds before I choose them, I find that helps me keep them going longer (unless you know it's not a real life breed).

Standard Schnauzers!!! I have some store ambassador dogs that I can start you off with if you'd like.

On another note, I also find it very hard to stick to horse breeds. I just don't have the patients for them and I don't connect with them because I've never owned or even been around horses. I do have a couple of horse breeds going right now, but I have an overwhelming number of dog breeds.
