Halloween Party with the horses!

HEY HP! This is Yankee. My beautiful big sweet baby. He is amazing! Well trained. I couldn't ask for a better horse that is for sure!! After 3 months of owning him he now follows me around the barn, no lead or halter and if I say "stand" he will stand there until I say come on and that could be hours after (I wouldn't do that to him though lol) He is amazing at ground tie and standing anywhere when asked, very helpful at times that is for sure, specially when your tack is the wayyyyy at the end of the barn haha so just walk him up and tack him up not being tied to anything! My friends and I will sit and talk and he'll stand right next to me the whole time and won't move a muscle or when riding if I say stand , he will for hours with me sitting on him! I LOVE THIS HORSE! He neck reigns and go off of leg pressures like a dream. Smooth! Jumps , goes in water, can go out on trail by myself with him , anything and everything. He sure the solid horse. I got a deal on him. Hes my baby that is for sure! He helped me get my riding confidence up! I just couldn't go passed a trot without getting scared and finally just went into a canter and he took it slow for me and now I'm in a full gallop in trails lol. Now for the side help to this lol! *HALLOWEEN QUESTION* So me and a couple of barn people planning a big party at the barn for Halloween, tons of people and horses and dressing up , games, food, all that fun stuff! We are planning a contest for the best costume for horses and people and mine.. well is hard as he is a sorrel lol. So many ideas with a white horse, black horse, etc but him I just cannot think of anything lol! SOOO I WANT HP HELP! Anyone got any great ideas to help me out? lol. Anything from cute to scary to anything! This boy I can do anything to him, literally so putting stuff to hang on him wont be a problem, hats no problem. Hes awesome like that! lol SO SHOUT THEM OUT! I would say dress him up like Secretariat.It might be hard,but if you wanted to go all out you could get blue and white checkered blinkers,or even just a blue and white checkered blanket.Then you could dress up like the jockey :). |
