hey!

i used to code/make graphics year ago...but to be honest, i've forgotten pretty much all of my coding apart from basic tables!! anyhoo, i'd really like to get back into it all. i was just wondering are there any main sites that people use to help them? for example, there used to be a lot of sites that had textures available to use...not sure if the funkychicken site is still around? haha!

i'm also wondering what version of photoshop people recommend? i used to use 7.0 (lol) and elements 4.0..

thanks xx

I found w3schools website to be super helpful when I was coding my layout, I also used Riley's Guide here on the forums to help me with all the player boxes & navigation menu. I'll link them here.

As for textures, I have no idea anymore. I know COLOURlovers is super popular for background patterns and such. It's a nifty little site, you can use choose from tons of different premade patterns or color some yourself.

W3 for sure. Colour lovers is all the rage. There's a few guides here somewhere in the forum. I also have some free layouts people are welcome to play with and even modify and sell so long as I'm credited for it. They should still be linked on my page.

As for Photoshop, back when I had expendable income (LMAO) I just used the 9.99 a month creative cloud version of Photoshop.
