ok with this government shut down happening ufood stamps are gonna be affected next month. Problem is that how i can get some of the foood Esther needs. she's cant just go back on an dry food diet. And wet food messes with her too much like the dry food does. Anyone on here make there pets homemade food? Best way too cook chicken so i can freeze it with limited freezer space. I have an fride/freezer door space mabey a little more. Best way to store it too help. Is there something i can get that will press/take all air out of the bags so more will fit in freezer? |

You can add lentils and rice to kind of fill in temporarily and make it go further. Carrots and sweet potatoes are also cheap and ok for dogs. When I first got Sookie she wasn't interested in wet food and couldn't eat dry due to her teeth so I would make a little chicken hash to entice her to take her medication.
Also are your food stamps not run at the state level? They are in Michigan. We thought maybe that's why my roommate's Medicaid/bridge application was taking forever but that's on the state government, not federal. Link Tree |

She's being picky eater lol but hat not new. She ate the dogs wet food ohter day. She ate and nothing was in it that was gonna harm her so I let her. As the dog food simpler to the cat stuff. Thouth just like an every day thing won't be good cause it missing ohter stuff she need as cats need some stuff different from dogs. As far as I am being told. But I wasn't able to get her to eat that day so I wasn't gonna care for one day cause she ate it. Then the dog ate her wet food so all worked out |

Make sure you dont let her est to much dog food, most brands can have certain preservatives and chemicals that are otherwise toxic to cats. Just though id memtion that as i remember the last time a raised kittens their mom was secretly eating the dog food witch was away from the other cats and it made her really sick, which then made the kittens sick from her milk. A few bites here and there are okay but constantly is a no-no! Nobody wants sick furbabies :( now im not sure about wet food, but i know its like that for dry. Always read the ingredients if you arent sure :) |
