What are your New Year's resolutions? How are you doing so far?

Mine are to keep my hosue cleaner and to keep my clothes off the floor. I had a pretty difficult year last year, and had some sickness and death in my family, and struggled a lot with depression and unbalanced medication, and ended the year with a pretty horrific December that ended with the death of my best friend. So I think cleaning my space is step 1 to digging myself out of this grief/depression hole and set myself up for success in the new year. So far we've done pretty well with the bathrooms and living room and kitchen (including dishes!), but we still need to work on the other rooms. I also have been watching Tidying Up on Nextflix and purged 6 bags of clothes, winter coats, shoes, and accessories that don't bring me joy.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Sam! :( -all the hugs-

My resolutions are to go to the gym a bit more than I already was and to keep on track with healthy eating and minimizing the junk food. It was hard last week because our friends were staying with us, but this week has been way better. I'm starting the massage specialization course next week, so I've also resolved to stay on top of studying and working at the same time. Lastly, I need to increase my self-control with my pixel herd on here xD I have too many and every time I reduce to a certain amount, I suddenly add more lol.

I'm so sorry to hear, Sam :( 2018 was truly an awful year. *hugs* just remember though that grief isn't a set path...take as long as you want/need x

As for resolutions...I guess mine is to eat healthier (i've starten 2019 eating a lot of junk food), and to pass my theory/driving test.. for my rl horses, probably to keep them healthy and happy, work on Jack's schooling/jumping/confidence..

HP goals..I guess remember to train :D

I'd say my biggest goal (for now) is to get fit and trim for my cruise in April. After that...keep that weight off, I guess haha.

Food is my liiiiiife tho and I hate sitting around feeling like I'm starving. xD I prefer to execise more rather than eating less...just eating REASONABLY. No fast food every week. o.o

I have a cleaning schedule now that so far I've stuck to every day. It's something little each day, but it's more than I was doing before.

I'm trying to brush my teeth and wash my hands way more often than before. Not that I didn't do it, but I figure it's healthy for me and it's good for me to really emphasize it for my son. Seeing me do it will help him learn/want to do it.

Overall trying to be more patient/understanding/just a better mom.

So sorry for your loss Sam. :(

My resolutions are as follows:

1. To keep my apartment clean, clothes organised and to de-clutter.

2. I'm now doing Weight Watchers as I want to lose 80 lbs (I'm not necessarily pushing for the full 80 this year, but if I can get to between 175 and 200lbs I'll be content). I'm currently 250.

3. No dates for the whole of 2019. I need to focus on myself and getting myself back to a happy place, physically and mentally, before I let someone else into my life.
* This may seem like a weird resolution I know, but last year I was so obsessed with having someone to 'talk to' that I made myself feel awful when things didn't work out for whatever reason. It really affected my self esteem.
