So one thing that's been seriously bothering me, and other players, here is the economy.
500k per ticket is a ripoff. That's 500k for ONE ticket.
That's less than it takes to enter a show, which max at 2k, I think, AND you get more points than that.
I know people say they don't use tickets unless they're doing a project or something, but I don't like these statements. If this were the case, why is it that people still continue to sell their htix for ridiculous prices?

I spend more on tickets than I do anything else, other than private shows. Is it unnecessary? Sometimes, but I think it helps when I have a project going, or to get a horse further ahead than just using shows.
I currently have a project going and I want to see the breed become more popular. That's my reason for doing it. I want an awesome lined foal that someone would be proud to train and I want more people to be interested in Percherons and Drafts. (I breed Shires with Sin, and do Clydes as well)
(I'm sure I'll sell backups or raffle em or something) Ok, I know I shouldn't complain, I have awesome horse lines and awesome pointed horses so far, but I PAID for them and I paid a lot. Im ALWAYS on the lookout for tickets and I always sell upgrades. 2 things that have the most messed up prices EVER. Im always willing to negotiate and I always do what I think is fair or what people can afford.

If anyone has comments or suggestions or ideas or something, like a coalition of players that agree to sell their htix for as much as their htix (as I can name as many dog projects as horse projects, if not more) I'd say this is a problem that needs to be solved.

Thanks. -Didn't mean to rant. Sorry.

I agree...the prices are insane! Which is why I don't ticket :PBut!Think back to HL...on HL, tickets were selling for 1 mill or more per ticket...plus what Zad said...ticket prices have stayed roughly the same for at least a year now...

I agree with uni,My concern is the private Shows. people have just stopped using them.I use be to able to Advertise in basic A. and get over 5-10 replies for spots. Now even if i Advertise. i barely get one reply in 3 days. Now ive got 150 upgrades. Im keeping sam rich :P haha.I like to feel with me making private shows each week, im doing something for the HP community. by making Private shows available at a Cheaper price. But Now due to the fact I cant even get Buyers anymore, is really affecting me.150 upgrades @ 350mil . OUCH.i get 9billion a month from ticket & private show sales [it goes up and down depending on who's actuall paid and entered the shows]And all of that money goes to Upgrades. I dont use it for anything else.Ive got around 20 upgrades dying a month. thats a big ouch for meI dont bother with my bank money most of the time. to much effort. >_

Their is no quick fix to the inflation. I am not sure how the tax thing would work. A game vote or survey might help in figuring out where players stand. If all players or a majority of the players think prices are high, And then figure out from there what to do. I don't think the players that have billions would enjoy having their banks taxed. That won't go over very much. The players that make their graphics have a starting bid of 50mill + would have to agree to start lowering their prices. But there are still player sthat can still afford to pay these high prices because they themselves self graphic and cahrge that much. Its a cycle.

I play another game that, ever week, you get taxed based on the number of horses you have that are "active". It's a horse racing game, so we get taxed a different amount based on our horses in our main barn who race vs. those in our breeding barn that can only breed. I *think* it goes based on a percentage of how much money you have.

No, to lower inflation money needs to come out of the economy. People will have less to spend, and THAT will make prices to down. People agreeing to sell things for less changes absolutely nothing. :/

^ Absolutely 100% agree with that, which is why it bothers me so much when people get mad at other people for not selling their stuff for less. Buyers will pay what they can afford to pay, and as more money is withdrawn from the economy, buyer's budgets are going to become lower on their own. Prices will adjust along the way.

What's also a little frustrating though is when people complain about the economy and inflation and how expensive graphics are, but then when people start to bid less, the designers get mad because they're not getting as much as they used to and start to take it personally. I like to bid lots on nice things as much as the next person, but at the moment I simply can't afford to. It's nothing against your skills as a designer, I just don't have the money to bid as much as your last one sold for.

Sorry guys but I personally don't see an issue with inflation especially when it comes to ticket prices...

They aren't needed to have great horses on the game.

I don't have much to add about the whole topic as I sick of repeating my views on it.

But I don't think it would be fair to tax the rich more than the poor.

Why should us richer players be punished for working hard for years??
