Yay my husband just bought me a new wacom tablet for my birthday/valenties day! He knew I'd been eying it for a couple of years.

Anyway, my question is that it comes with three free programs and I'm able to pick two. They are: Painter essentails 6, Coral Aftershot 3 and Clip studio paint pro.

Has anyone used any of these and would reccomend any of them? I feel the first and third are very similar.

My use of these would be for photo manipulation and possible personal photo editing for future stock images.

I've been out of the graphics loop for 8 or more years so suggestions and tips are welcome (:

I got a Wacom a few years ago and I chose Painter Essentials 5, but haven't used it much. It's probably just me and my laziness in looking for tutorials on how to use the product, but I thought PS was easier to use. I think Painter might be for drawing digital art instead of making photo manips. I can't offer any insight into the other programs, though.

I'm not honestly familiar with any of those three, but if you're looking for free photomanipulation software I'd recommend GIMP, and for free painting software FireAlpaca is the way to go!

I can't remember what I picked, but I did go to Corels site and download the demos to try out before choosing.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I'll try out a demo before I download them forever.

I have tried to work with GIMP but I wasn't a fan. Might check out some of those other free ones y'all mentioned.

I would look at all 3 on the websites and see if they have trial versions.
