I brand all my pups and foals :)

I permanently tag/brand them.

Darkwood - Colour shows on the animals page, notes does not.

I put parents info in notes, and put generation in colour.

I dont buy branded animals. It personally just bugs me idk why lol

i brand all animals that i receive (either bought from the store, or bred by me). if someone buys a pup of mine, it will have MY brand. but if they train that pup, and then breed it, the offspring will have their brand on it. Thats just how i do mine

I don't permanently brand store horses, but I permanently brand all offspring I brees. If someone sells me an animal without a brand on it, I five it their brand.

I agree with most of the players here. Like Duckie,  I came from a game where people stole your animals and claimed them as their own (along with yoyr achievements). However on here,  I would go in multiple directions with branding. If I am trading with a partner or giving/selling a horse to a person I trust, I will  brand it/tag it but not permanently.  However if I do not want the animal at all for whatever reason, then I don't brand/tag at all. This is because these animals aren't lined animals and do not need to be tracked. 

Now with lined horses it is a different story because they're your main focus/profit. As you may notice both my Hanoverians have permanent brands,  this is because they're foundation horses to a pedigree lineage that can go on for generations. With lined horses,  I ALWAYS like to brand them, even the foals,  since this allows people to know that foal cane from the farm's brand. While I'm sure it isn't nessecary here because players are mature and respectful,  it is just my opinion/method I choose with branding/tagging animals on here.
