Summer is right around the corner and I don't have any bikini swimsuits that fit me anymore! I've dragged on getting a new one due to me being a hard one to fit. I'm 5'4", 120lbs, and tend to run in small to medium things, I'm larger chested for my size also. Normally, I have to buy a pair of bottoms separate from the tops, which is super annoying when you really like a set. I am planning a trip to Louisiana to see a high school friend over the summer and we will be going to the beach. So, now I can't procrastinate any longer of getting a new bikini. Do you guys have any favorite brands or suggestions?!

I'm not very helpful as my swimsuits I buy everytime I go to Europe at a store called Decathlon. Not sure if they do shipping or online stuff, but for some reason their stuff fits me well

JCPenny's has a fairly decent selection and they have mix & match sets that look good too!
More selection online than in store in my opinion. Prob go in store and figure out sizing, then order online. That's all I got! xD

I second JCPenney's. That's where I've bought mine in the past and if I were brave enough to sport a swimsuit this year, that's where my current one is from.

I haven't yet tried them personally, but there's a brand called Swimsuits for All. They market a lot to plus size women, but I think they really take that ''for All'' part seriously and have something for everyone.

Okay, well I'm a lot bigger than you, but TARGET! I had to buy from their plus size collection online but I love the top I got and with your sizes you'll have TONS of options in the stores. They do sell the tops and bottoms separately so you can get a bigger size on top than on the bottom. Or if you find bottoms you like at Target, I will always recommend Torrid for tops if you're busty. They're not super cheap, but their 00 is equivalent in size to a regular medium. So even though it's a "plus size" store, their clothes fit most people and they're actually built to make room for people with larger chests.

I really love Aerie swimsuits! :)

PLUS they have buy one get one free tops and bottoms, so it would be a good time to buy the separates like you usually do. :)

AND the more popular styles have pictures of people actually wearing them (not just models posing) so you can see how they're going to look. :)

I just ordered three swimsuits from Arie, Target, and JC Penny. I'll let you know when they come in what worked out the best! :)

Thank you all for the suggestions, I really needed the help!

I second the target suggestion!  Target will sell tops and bottoms separately, which is really convenient... I have the WORST time finding suits that fit too.

I'm about your size, just a tad taller, but have nothing up top, so I tend to go small in the tops and medium in the bottoms.  I almost always size up in the target bottoms.

***Target also will have REALLY GOOD summer sales... I'll usually raid the clearance and end up with tops or bottoms around $4-6 each :)

I forgot about Target!
We have a really small on in our mall in town that has "meh" selections, so it didn't even cross my mind!

Update~

I ordered my swimsuits from Aerie, Target, and JC Penny a little over a week ago and all of them have come in! I can tell you that I returned my swimsuit from JC Penny due to their sizes running extremely big for what they say online, I kept the other two swimsuits from Aerie and Target.

Personally, I did not like the swimsuit I got from JC Penny at all! It didn't fit like it did on the model and was way too big when their size chart said it would fit me. This was the second swimsuit to arrive and the only one I ended up sending back.

My Target swimsuit was the last to arrive so if you get standard shipping, don't expect them to deliver in an extremely timely manner. Target was my cheapest buy on a swimsuit which I LOVE. They had an extremely wide selection for all body types and styles of swimwear. The bikini I got was super cute and it had a ton of color options, it's made out of super soft and comfy fabric too. I would highly recommend them for any nice swimsuit in the future!

Aerie or American Eagle is my favorite by far, I will be ordering swimsuits from them from now on. I want to start off by saying their reviews are something to read before buying, it will tell you if you should buy a size up or down and are super helpful. Some of the reviews also show pictures of non-models wearing the swimsuits, it's nice to see them on a more realistic person's body. I ended up purchasing two bikinis from them because I was nervous about a top of one and a bottom of another (I got them in the same colors so I could mix and match tops & bottoms). When I got the bikinis both of them were perfect and held my body nicely. This is my favorite top out (https://www.ae.com/women-aerie-halter-wrap-bikini-top-olive-fun/aerie/s-prod/0753_1382_331?cm=sUS-cUSD&catId=cat6890009) of the two that I purchased, it was also the one I was nervous about. This top is PERFECT for women that tend to have a larger chest and holds everything super nice! As for bikini bottoms (SpongeBob, anyone?), they have a super wide selection of very modest to super showy and I love that. I got a cheeky and a more modest bottom and they both cover and fit really nice, no muffin top issues here. I would recommend Aerie bikinis to anyone and everyone this swimsuit season!

Land's End has some mix and match suit options, too, I think.
