Okay, so I was writing a program to calculate a baby's points (cuz I was bored and inspired lmao) and I wanted to include the awards they'd receive (Generation and Born Points). The generational award is easy, got that down. The Born Points is where I've hit a snag. In the Help section that lists all the animal awards and how many points earned by each award, it says that the Born Points award is worth 1500 points for each milestone. So my understanding is the following:

Born with 50k: 1500 points
Born with 100k: 1500 1500 = 3000 points
Born with 200k: 1500 1500 1500 = 4500 points
Born with 500k: 1500 1500 1500 1500 = 6000 points
Born with 1mil: 1500 1500 1500 1500 1500 = 7500 points
Born with 1.5mil: 1500 1500 1500 1500 1500 1500 = 9000 points
Born with 2mil: 1500 1500 1500 1500 1500 1500 1500 = 10,500 points

(HP hates the plus symbol for some reason, but I mean each milestone adds 1500 points to the one before it). But in the example given, it says that Born with 200k earns 7500 points, so I'm wondering if my understanding is wrong or if I'm missing something? o.0

I ask because it's gonna bug me if I can't include this award in my program simply because I don't understand it's calculation :P

ALSO - does upgrade and/or breed specialty have any effect on the points a baby is born with? Or will the baby be born with the same points regardless of whether the account is upgraded or basic, and regardless of whether it is the account's breed specialty or not?

EDIT: I posted the calculator [ here ]. Once I get an answer, I'll update the calculation for the points including awards. The born points calculation should be correct though!

EDIT 2: I also created a Project Calculator to give a rough estimate of the points that your animal will earn. You just input the number of each type of show you plan to put your animal in (as well as any previous points and/or monthly ticket sets you plan to use). The answer isn't supposed to be exact (there's no way to know what place your animal will take in all the shows, so the calculator uses averages), but it should give you a rough idea. It's [ here ].

This is interesting. I am thinking it will be answered after Sam gets back from Vacation though. I am interested to know. 

So I went ahead and completed the program anyway, assuming that the example was a typo. If we get an answer when Sam gets back, I can go back and adjust the calculation :P I'm looking into getting it converted to javascript so I can host it online and make it available to anybody who wants to use it ^^

HP hates the symbol?

This required a lot of mathing.

So much math.

But! I went and looked on the database and the Help page has a typo. Born with 50k gets you 2500 points, not 1500. So the math works.

So Born with...

50k=2500
100k=5000
200k=7500
500k=10000
1 mill=12500
1.5 mill=15000
2 mill=17500

So the base points are 2500 not 1500, that's an easy fix then! :D Thanks Blitz!
