So, as some of you may know, I had to make the decision to put my first horse down a couple of weeks ago (Nov. 17th). She was 21 and a half years old, and I had had her for almost 10 years.

Although she was always a bit unpredicatble, and not very nice, she was my friend, and she taught me so much. I would absolutely not be the rider or horsewoman that I am today if it weren't for her.

I know that putting her down was the right thing to do, and that it needed to happen, but I will miss her always.

Aww, as heartbreaking as it is, it was for the best. She's got one of the cutests heads I've ever seen on a horse, especially in the first picture of her peeking out the window hehe

I am so sorry for your loss.  A loss of a horse is always devestating.  She was quite the beauty.  I'm glad she was able to teach you so much in her time here with you.
