What was your favorite horse related movie growing up? I just recently stumbled across mine in a clearance section of a closing Blockbuster and just HAD to buy it. I watched it with my husband the other night and he loved it just as much as me!

I also loved the horse, Silver, in the recent Lone Ranger movie. xD

Black Beauty (1994 version) and The Black Stallion were my "go-to" horse movies, on VHS of course haha. I also liked Flash but I didn't own that.

Ahhh this is hard! I'll just say my top 3: Black Beauty (90s), The Black Stallion, and National Velvet. This thread reminds that I haven't had a good horse movie binge session in a long time!

Hmm, as an adult probably Seabuscuit or Hidalgo! I love that movie :).

I liked basically all of them as a kid, haha. But the one I remember the most is Flicka. I know there's another but I can't even think of the name of it right now. I also loved the TV show Wildfire. I wanted to be a jockey so bad as a kid, haha.

i also liked gypsy colt, i have a ton of the old horse movies...even the cheesy straight to dvd films from walmart!!! is it bad that i critisize every mistake?! like when you can tell its a gelding playing a mare or when the horses change or when they use them fake horses in racing films?!

I actually only ever watched Hidalgo and Spirit...
