Rooster Dogburn

On 1 July, 2019 I decided it was finally time to bring another dog into my home. HP, meet Rooster Dogburn. Aka Roo. Aka Rooberry. Aka RoosterRoo.
I call him Roo, because he aROOOOs.
A sweet little 2 year old Bluetick Hound that had been waiting (patiently/not so patiently) at the animal shelter for over a month. I am still in shock that his people did not come for him, but oh well, because he is my ity bity baby now. He weighed 52 pounds when we picked him up, and it was heartbreaking to pet him due to the fact when we would run our hand across his side all we felt was ribs. In the short time he has been with us, he has learned SO much. From knowing NOTHING at the start, after a few 1on1 obidence classes we have discovered that he is a sponge for words. As of right now, he knows the following: sit, down, off, place, and is working on stay. He is also now crate trained, and we haven't had an indoor potty accident in 8 days!! I don't believe he was an indoor dog at all previously. He was completely baffeled by the TV and the noises coming from it, and was terrified of the wood floors in the kitchen. His confidence was nill, but he has made so much progress in such a short amount of time. He good baby

OMG look at the size of those paws, he is such a cutie, cant believe people didnt want him, so glad you took him he already looks happy and content at your place,
