Hey guys! I want to talk about the mass feeder: Personally, I hate using it. I don't think it's any faster or easier. I think it's more difficult than just the regular clicking to add 7 days, and I don't know how everyone else feels about it (some of the responses on the survey mentioned it too - P.S. if you haven't taken the survey, please take it here: https://forms.gle/XoW3wMnJfVo7eqd19 !), so that's why I want to have a discussion about it.

I think it would be nice if instead of having to put in how much feed you want, if you could just keep the 7 days at a time option, OR have one single box at the top where you can put in how much feed you want to add to everyone in your stable and then have it added. So like if you had the mass feeder, there would be a box at the top of your stable/kennel that says "Add feed to all horses/dogs?" and then "Amount:" and you could put in say, 100, and it would just feed every horse or dog for 100 days.

Also, because I think the math would be harder for buying feed, maybe instead of buying feed in the store ahead of time, it could just charge you the same amount, but as you go? So feed is currently $12.50 HPD per serving, so say you had 100 horses and you fed them all for 1 year, instead of you having to figure out how many days you needed, it would just charge you 4562.5 per horse, or 456,250 total, right then and there.

The math blew my mind a little bit....lol So if this post or opinion doesn't make sense, please let me know. 

I personally like the mass feeder a lot! I dislike clicking and clicking the feed button for each individual animal because I am apt to accidentally hit the "boot animal" button for boarders that are in the red (usually just my own animals sitting on a retirement account). Then I have to search for them in the HA before my reclaim time runs out. 

Perhaps, it would be better if there were a button at the top of the page with "mass feed" that says how many servings you'd like to give everyone? It doesn't bother me, now, how that isn't a feature. 

I wouldn't mind a button at the top with the amount. I do like the mass feeder as well, because I have over 1000 animals in my retirement and I like to keep them fed for 300 days at all times. xD clicking each animal to over 300 would take years.

I don't want to feed everyone the same amount, though. Like, if I added feed to everyone on my retirement I'd go broke. But if I have to go through and just type it on the ones I want it'll take forever. I like it just doing it for up to a year. Or if someone paid to board, I don't want to add feed to my animals, too...

Is it possible to take out the feeding aspect altogether? Like, when board is paid, the animal automatically gets fed for however many days the animal was boarded for. If the stable doesn't have food, you can't board there. (although someone would need an idea for how to handle it when your animal is in your home stable. Maybe we could just type in how many days still. idk.)

I like the mass feeder.

When I have a newborn I feed them for about 140 days but when they get transferred to my retirement account they then get fed for the remaining days to make up 365 days. 

On accounts where I allow borders I only feed them for as many days as are paid and on same account I feed my animals for however many days I want them fed so not all animals get fed the same rate.

@Pemba, that is what I'm suggesting we do!

@Jaya, we need money sinks in the game to keep inflation spiraling out of control, so that's why you have to pay for the vet and farrier/groomer, buy feed, maintenance stuff like that. If money is only transferred between players and not pulled out of the economy entirely, that's when prices start to sky rocket and it makes it even harder for newer players to get a foothold in the game.

Based on feedback so far, maybe it would be better to just add a second option to feed every animal the same amount.

I like the mass feeder and wouldnt mind a "feed everyone a certain amount" option!

Please add an "accept/reject all"  button to the clubs! Lol
